Terms of Use

Tv Remote (“the App”)

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Tv Remote mobile application for iOS (“the App”).

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Description of the App

Tv Remote lets you control compatible smart TVs on the same Wi‑Fi network as your mobile device. Supported features vary by TV brand and model and may include power, navigation, volume, app launching, touchpad/pointer controls, and voice search where supported.

We do not guarantee compatibility with every TV, firmware version, or network setup.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the App. If you are under 18, you should use the App only with permission from a parent or guardian.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms.

The App requires your phone and TV to be on the same Wi‑Fi network (unless a specific TV protocol supports otherwise).

We are not responsible for TVs that reject connections, change IP addresses, or stop supporting third-party remote protocols.

5. Pairing, Credentials, and Security

The App may store pairing information on your device (such as tokens or device identifiers) so you can reconnect without pairing again.

You are responsible for securing your device. Anyone with access to your unlocked phone may be able to control TVs you have previously paired.

6. Advertisements

The App is supported by advertising through Google AdMob. Ads may appear during use (for example, after certain interactions).

Your use of ads is also subject to Google’s terms and policies. We do not control third-party ad content; report inappropriate ads through Apple or Google where applicable.

7. In-App Purchases

The App may be offered for free with ads. If we add paid features or remove ads in the future, additional terms may apply at the time of purchase through Apple’s App Store.

The App, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the App.

TV brand names and logos belong to their respective owners. The App is not affiliated with or endorsed by LG, Samsung, Roku, Amazon, Google, or other TV manufacturers unless explicitly stated.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) TEN US DOLLARS (USD $10) IF THE APP WAS FREE.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (including, where applicable, liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence).

12. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer of the App from claims, damages, and reasonable expenses arising from your misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your control of devices without proper authorization.

13. Termination

We may suspend or discontinue the App at any time. You may stop using the App by deleting it from your device.

Sections that by nature should survive (disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity) will survive termination.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated date will appear at the top. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

15. Disputes

If you have a concern about the App or these Terms, please contact us first at contact@Caapps.com so we can try to resolve it informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be handled in accordance with applicable law in your place of residence, except where mandatory consumer protection rules in your region require otherwise.
